Born 1980 in Iran, Ali fled with his family and found a new home 1987 in Hamburg. These experiences are driving his thoughts and actions until today and motivated him to found his own company.
Ali made his first experiences with computers on a 8086 and set out to become a developer after studying physics. He soon ended up developing complex software like ERP for small and mid-sized businesses or web stores. Later he designed JavaScript architectures for NATE.COM, one of the first social networks in Asia. In 2007, he joined the Hamburg based start-up XING as a developer. He met Christopher Blum and they developed the first visions what should become Protonet. In their spare time they both started working to make the vision of a decentralized internet a reality. In 2015, he started the FREE YOUR DATA campaign, an initiative and a movement to enlighten, inform and challenge you with the truth behind what happens to your data.
