Timo Lundelius (29) began his professional career in the multi-channel distributor Globetrotter equipment GmbH in Hamburg. He worked there a total of almost 7 years running as online marketing manager, project manager, press secretary and sales. One of his main tasks was to bring together as an interface between business requirements and technical development. Lundelius studied political science and has placed his interests focus on the link between the topics of „Open Government“ and „democratic theory“. He is leader of the Open Knowledge (Codefor.de) Labs in Hamburg and a member of OpenGov 2.0 network. The Wir-bauen-hamburg.de/video project is the pilot of an open, Web-based collaboration and participation platform for anyone who wants to continue to develop and improve local urban development policy. The platform can be placed for any city that wants to encourage its citizens and community and enable to improve the results of the local government work.
